Dana Musgnung ’20, Manager of Fitness Programs at Lehigh Valley Health Network Fitness

I chose Cedar Crest for my Exercise Science master’s degree for multiple reasons: It's the perfect location- being near two major health networks gave us tons of experience and networking opportunities; the flexible schedule allowed me to work while also completing my degree requirements; and the program's design- most exercise science graduate programs that I investigated only offered a clinical or research focus, but not the integration of both. I was excited for both the clinical experiences and the opportunity to conduct research with the completion of a master’s thesis all in one program! Cedar Crest's program made me feel confident in my knowledge and ability to work with anyone who comes to the fitness center to exercise."

Why choose Cedar Crest College?

Empowerment, excellence, and advocacy.

Cedar Crest College has a long tradition of providing education and aid to the underserved. More than 150 years ago, nine young women gathered in a basement to pursue higher learning at a time when educational opportunities for women were rare.

Since that time, the school has maintained its dedication to empowerment through education as an undergraduate women’s college, while expanding its medical, adult, and graduate educational programs into co-ed experiences.
