Certifications are a great way to gain new skills and make you even more marketable. In these shorter graduate programs, you’ll learn to effectively and compassionately meet the needs of these growing student populations. These specialized certifications can be earned alone or with the M.Ed. in Art of Teaching. Both certifications are Act-48 eligible and can be completed entirely online and in two semesters.
Online Program | PreK-12 | 24 Credits
Add the latest reading support instructional techniques to your professional toolbox in just 12-18 months. This program includes courses in teaching diverse student populations, literacy coaching and a 100-hour practicum covering early, elementary, middle and high school student populations.
Self-Paced Online Program | PreK-12 | 14 Credits
Guide and support diverse student populations with confidence with your ESL certification. A specialized curriculum with 60-hour field experience provides the cultural awareness and instructional techniques needed to meet the needs of students from all backgrounds.
