COVID-19 Symptom Check

IF YOU HAVE A LIFE-THREATENING OR URGENT HEALTH CONDITION PLEASE CALL CAMPUS POLICE AT (610) 437-4471 IF YOU ARE ON CAMPUS AND 911 IF YOU ARE OFF CAMPUS. If your medical needs are not life-threatening or urgent please review the information below for your designation:Traditional Student, SAGE Student, or Employee.  

Traditional Students 

SYMPTOMS OF FEVER, COUGH, AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH COMBINED

Contact Health Services immediately if you have a fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Health Services can be reached by email at healthservices@cedarcrest.edu. Do not leave your residence until you have spoken with a staff member of Health Services to discuss next steps.

ALL OTHER SYMPTOMS

If you have one of the following symptoms below, please feel free to come to campus and continue to monitor your symptoms throughout the day:

  • cough
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • fatigue

If you have other symptoms or a combination of 2 symptoms listed above please ask yourself the following questions: Do your symptoms have a known cause (such as asthma, COPD, chronic sinusitis or other conditions not named?

If yes, please contact Health Services immediately by email. Include in your email your symptoms and why they may have contributed to your critical survey response by Healthy Roster. Do not leave your residence until you have spoken with a staff member from Health Services or the College’s Daily COVID-19 Response Team to discuss your return to campus and follow up action plan.

If no, please contact Health Services immediately. Health Services can be reached by email at healthservices@cedarcrest.edu. Do not leave your residence until you have spoken with a staff member of Health Services to discuss next steps.

EXPOSED TO A CONFIRMED OR SUSPECTED PERSON WITH COVID-19

If you believe you have been exposed to a person who has been confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19 please stay in your residence and email Health Services at healthservices@cedarcrest.edu. You can also refer to the College’s Communicable Disease Policy for Students.

SAGE Students

SYMPTOMS OF FEVER, COUGH, AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH COMBINED

Contact your Primary Care Physician immediately if you have a fever, cough, and shortness of breath to discuss next steps and do not come to campus. A staff member from Health Services or the College’s Daily COVID-19 Response Team to discuss your return to campus and follow up action plan.

ALL OTHER SYMPTOMS

If you have one of the following symptoms below, please feel free to come to campus and continue to monitor your symptoms throughout the day:

  • cough
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • fatigue

EXPOSED TO A CONFIRMED OR SUSPECTED PERSON WITH COVID-19

If you believe you have been exposed to a person who has been confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19 please stay at home and email Health Services at healthservices@cedarcrest.edu to discuss your potential exposure and next steps. You can also refer to the College’s Communicable Disease Policy for Students.

Employee – Faculty or Staff 

SYMPTOMS OF FEVER, COUGH, and SHORTNESS of BREATH COMBINED 

Contact your personal health care provider or local health system immediately for consultation regarding your symptoms and for guidance regarding what to do and possible testing.  Notify your supervisor that you are not are not reporting to work because you do not feel well.  

ALL OTHER SYMPTOMS

If you have one of the following symptoms below, please feel free to come to campus and continue to monitor your symptoms throughout the day:

  • cough
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • fatigue  

If you have other symptoms or a combination of 2 symptoms listed above please ask yourself the following question: Do your symptoms have a known cause (such as asthma, COPD, chronic sinusitis or other conditions not named? If yes, ask yourself the following question: Have you been exposed to someone with confirmed COVID-19 or been in an impacted area? 

If no, you may report to work.  If yes, and not experiencing symptoms, stay home for 14 days from the time you were last exposed to confirmed COVID-19 or the last time you left the impacted area.  Talk to you supervisor about options for continuing work. 

If yes and experiencing symptoms, you are required to stay home for 14 days from when you were last exposed.  Sick leave policies and FFCRA may apply.
