Programs and Locations

The Study Abroad Process

  1. Pick a Program
    Talk to Global Initiatives or come to an info session to narrow down your destination, term, and program.
  2. Course Approvals
    Talk to your advisor about classes you can take abroad, pick them, email Lindsey.Hutterer@cedarcrest.edu about getting them approved with your department chair.
  3. Apply to the Program
    Fill out the online application with your program and complete the study abroad approval form (found on MyCedarCrest).
  4. Accepted!
    You've been accepted to your program! They will reach out to you with information regarding visas, class selecting, flights, etc.
  5. Scholarships
    Research your own, ask us, and apply for the Cedar Crest Study Abroad scholarship (application part of the study abroad approval form on MyCedarCrest).
  6. Turn in All Paperwork
    Turn in your forms, waivers and passport via email or on MyCedarCrest.
  7. Preparing to go Abroad
    Buy insurance, buy flights, get a visa, complete pre-departure orientation requirements, destination research.
