Autumn Wilhide, environmental conservation/psychology, studied in Rio de Janeiro, Peru, & Little Cayman Island "my favorite experience was helping plant crops in the community gardens of Vidigal in Rio and learning more about the strength of the human experience across cultures"
Education majors Makenzie Kistler and Bria turner were part of the first Sophomore Expedition to Brazil. Makenzie's favorite memorie from Rio was "spending time in schools down there, meeting the kids, and building their library."
Emily Bianchini, biology, went to Brazil with Expedition. Pictured on a hiking trail in Rio, Emily says "was such a memorable and breathtaking moment...I miss Rio every day!"
Sherlee Velazquez, education studies, went to Brazil with the Expedition "My favorite memory of Brazil was our first lunch! That was the moment we all discovered Guaran (a Brazilian soda!) and for the rest of the trip that’s all we drank. "

Rachel Bechtel, integrated biology, studied in the Amazon in Peru with Dr. Cigliano. "it was so worth it to see animals and plants thriving in their natural habitats!"
Robin Coker, envionrmental conservation and math, studied abroad in Brazil, Peru, and Little Cayman "My favorite memories from studying abroad are hiking new trails every day (and at night!) in the Amazon rainforest, planting tress in the Atlantic rainforest, and experiencing all the biodiversity that those areas are home to."
Rosanna Cabatic advises our international students and was a coordinator on the Sophomore Expedition to London! She is also graduating with her MBA!
