Study Abroad

Experience other cultures first hand through our multiple trips abroad.

One of the greatest ways to study and understand a culture and its traditions is to experience it firsthand. Traveling abroad provides a more well-rounded and worldly perspective on global issues, allowing you to take what you’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to a real-world experience. Cedar Crest College offers many opportunities for students to travel abroad, and we encourage you to take advantage of them during their college years.

Annual Cedar Crest Trips

Led by our experienced faculty members, our trips will take you directly to the streets of foreign cities and allow you to observe and interact with the individuals who live there. These trips last for a few weeks at a time and are typically scheduled over College breaks. This makes it easier for students to participate and balance the travel with their regular studies.

Cedar Crest College previously offered trips to:

  • Belize
  • Egypt
  • England
  • Galapagos Islands
  • India
  • Cayman Islands
  • Scotland
  • Greece

Summer Study at Colleges Overseas

Cedar Crest has partnered with colleges overseas, offering students the opportunity to study at these colleges during the summer. This allows you to take a class overseas and experience life in another country for an extended period of time. Our partnerships are designed as an exchange program, allowing students from foreign countries a chance to study at Cedar Crest College, as well.

Cedar Crest is currently partnered with:

  • The School for Field Studies
  • Asian University for Women, Bangladesh
  • Seoul Women’s University, South Korea
