My primary area of research is Number Theory. I do a lot of research on the properties of polynomials over the ring of integers. Such properties include locations of roots, as well as irreducibility and factorization. I am also very interested in research involving covering systems of the integers. While my primary interests lie in Number Theory, I have also done research in the areas of combinatorics and algebra.

Ph.D in Mathematics, University of Tennessee
Dr. Maggie Wieczorek grew up in Illinois. She studied math and French at North Central College before continuing her education at the University of Tennessee, where she earned her MS (2017) and PhD (2020) in mathematics. After graduate school, Maggie worked as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. She is excited to call Pennsylvania home with her fiancé and dog, and she looks forward to meeting and working with students in their mathematical studies. When not with students or in her office, Maggie can usually be found cross stitching, playing Zelda, or napping.
